Phew!Back frm a whole week of being away frm my com!!k now lemme see..lets start wif the choir festival in malacca....
(4th dec)It was ard 6am in the morn when i woke up,and went to pick up maung myo b4 going to sch..haha we were so psyched up abt hw the trip was gonna b lyk..ard 7.30am the bus came,then we set off!!i diddnt notice the time..but we were playing cards n i was playing my gameboy happily xD till we reached Yong Peng(dunno if its the correct spelling haha)for a rest..oh ya i hven mention..maung myo was in coach 2..so he was slower than us xD tho we met.After Yong Peng we drove n travelled to Jusco!in case u dunno jusco is a super small shopping mall.they had a yr-end sale there..but i diddnt buy anything anyway xP haha we'll come back to tis place ltr..after jusco we immediately went to the WaterCity resort!a total of 500+ students were there too.. from schools lyk Anglican High Sch,Catholic High,Tanjong Katong Sec Sch,Victoria JC,Anderson JC n few more schs.When we got the key to our apartment,gabriel n i had to b split frm our grp n join neng wei's cuz all 3 room..then 2 ppl share 1 room..haha yea..the apartment was KEWL!but the oni thing was tt the place was abit "budget" xD some furniture were spoilt n the kettle was rusty(we had it changed) haha.. now comes the 1st nite's performance,the Timeless Noel,which was a Christmas performance..we performed wif the AJ choir 2 songs,Gesu Bambino n Gaude Maria,n the sing alongs were fine..xcept tt evry1 sang the MELODY line hahaha cuz they dunno the other parts..well tts abt it for the 1st nite xP
(5th dec)Ringring!!..Ringring!!..gabriel's alarm woke us up at 6.15 as we needed to assemble by 7.. breakfast was rice,sausages n ikan bilis haha..after breakfast we had a workshop wif the 1st clinician, Dr Joshua Habermann.He did mostly on our language for both our songs Credo n Noyosa haha..tink we were flat..1 tone flat >< well,mayb we were scared or sth then nv sing out tts y go flat..anyway after the workshop we had our lunch and then went to jusco again!haha the teachers let us go there to buy stuff tt we needed for our apartments..so i bought 3 mamee cup noodles,n a giant bottle of 5litre mineral water(shared among the 6 of us)...hmm..if i rmbed correctly..after jusco wuld b our dinner..then after tt our 2nd night's performance,titled "Colours of The World" hehe..we sang 3 songs..Wawaki,Tantum Ergo n Wind Beneath My Wings..we screwed up..yea i said it..we screwed up..wawaki was super rushing @@"..haiz anyway we had a super early lights out..10.45 if i nt wrong..
(6th dec)The last performance day..i really hoped tt we wuldnt screw up tis one..breakfast was the SAME as yday..so sien..lol anyways after breakfast we had sectionals..sop was in neng wei's apartment(which was mine too)..evrything was the usual.tis time pock thong stressed on our dynamics for credo as the nxt workshop wuld b Mr Arwin Tan's..n he surely do credo cuz the composer made it for his choir hahaha..after sectionals we went to the grand ballroom for the workshop..but when we entered we saw temasek sec sch(if i nt wrong) singing the SYF set piece, Everyone Sang..i wonder y..well,anyways Mr Arwin Tan gav us alot of new dynamics to add in credo..and as u might hv guessed,we were once agn FLAT in credo..T_T so cham..dunno if Mr Arwin Tan was really satisfied when he said tt it was a fruitful session -_-..after the workshop was another round of sectionals..then the final workshop wif the last clinician,Dr Wong Su San.
There's oni 1 word to describe her.....CRAZY..yea...CRAZY she was haha..she taught us hw to use headvoice and used methods lyk telling us abt hw the monkey sounds,asking us to act lyk we're fishing n toss the line to sum1 in bass xD..tt was the most interactive n fun workshop of all 3 haha..after Dr Wong's workshop was our lunch,then we had a practice wif Mr Kwei..which he told us tt he walked out on Cat high cuz they culdnt reach a note in Pamagun,1 of their SYF songs..we had a full 2 hr 45min break b4 the final performance,which i tink kinda helped..we diddnt eat any fried food for dinner as we wanted to do real gd for tis last performance of the festival, the SYF Presentation Night.Of all the sec schs tt performed i was oni impressed by 3 of em..TKSS,Cat high n Commonwealth..hmm...b4 our turn,there was a 15min intermission where i took the chance to drink lots of water =P..finally it was our turn..Credo was our 1st song..tis time,we diddnt go flat!but went sharp instead LOL xDFor Noyosa we rushed abit at the end,but it was quite gd..happy n xcited we stuffed ourselves wif springrolls after the performance xD..lights out on tt day was 12.when we were back in our apartments, they HAD to spoil our mood..Temasek sec sch girls lost their stuff n accused us of stealing them..WTF?!They even told neng wei to "ask his juniors to admit tt they stole their stuff"..stupid...
(7th dec)The last day of our trip!!LOL evry1 in my apartment woke up super late..at 6.55am,which was juz 5min b4 breakfast..so we decided to brush our teeth after breakfast xD haha..after breakfast(which was the SAME),we went back to our apartments to pack our stuff as we were gonna leave soon..b4 boarding the bus we took some pics wif out TICs(teacher in charge)xPi diddnt take any cuz i 4got to bring my camera to malacca hehe...anyways,2day was also our city tour of malacca.the tour guide 1st brought us to Tan Kim Hock for some shopping of tidbits n chendol,tho i din eat any but bought some peanut candy for my bro at home muhaha..the 2nd stop was at a church or fort or sth,where the tour guide said tt it was a historical structure or sth..they had there displayed the 1st aircraft,train n fire truck in Msia(or malacca,i dunno)haha.. then after tt was the MAHKOTA SHOPPING CENTRE xD..well it wasnt so xciting there as there wasnt anything tt i wanted to buy haha..after tt was again back to Yong Peng,the stop right b4 we go back to sg..
Tis time travis showed me the 2 GIGANTIC fish in the pond which i din see the last time.he threw a coin in n 1 of em ate it!!omg?!well anyway tt was the last event tt's credible enuff for me to mention..tts all for e malacca trip!!
